Causes of anemia can be categorized into two:
  • Impaired formation of red blood cells.
  • The amount of blood that is lost due to excessive bleeding. So the lack of blood diseases can occur suddenly or chronic.
Impaired formation of red blood cells could be due to:
  • Stricken by chronic worming.
  • Poor nutrition, in terms of quality not quantity.
  • Lack of vitamin B6 and vitamin B12, Folic acid, vitamin E. Vitamin forming blood and blood-forming proteins, especially the essential amino acids, and a shortage of red blood.
  • Disorders of the bone marrow thus inhibiting the formation of red blood cells.
  • Impaired liver function thus inhibiting the formation of blood cells.

A lot of blood lost by excessive bleeding due to:

  • Infected cancers, such as cervical cancer, and others.
  • Infected heavy worming.
  • Had an accident so much blood loss.
  • Esophageal virus that attacks the small intestine so that excessive blood loss.
  • Attacks by excessive fleas and ticks.
  • After having major surgery, still in the healing stage.
  • One ate plants or poison that causes excessive bleeding.
